Note: Read chapters 52 onwards, or else you might be as confused as someone trying to speak Swedish in Spain. This might've been brought up by my writer's block ever since Chapter 52, sorry if it's sad and confusing! -__-;;

A/N: Please be nice, I don't like writing sad/serious stuff. Just thought to give it try. I apologize for the grammar, OpenOffice doesn't seem to have this pesky thing called grammar check. And... is it sappy? I apologize for that too v_v
His mother had always said it was imposible to give life into statues. His father told him it was unscientific, not to mention, quite silly, to even try to think of a way to give them life.
Roy Mustang never knew as to why he was so intrigued by them. His mother was an artist, a sculptor, and he often remembered asking as to why she didn't make them move.
Why she didn't make them to live, be useful.
Bakit nga ba ganoon?
Then he met someone resembling to one.
A statue.
Isang statua. Walang buhay.
She was beautiful, much too beautiful to his dismay. “Colonel.” She called out to him as she usually does everyday since they had met each other. (the only thing that probably changed was his rank, he laughed to himself) “It's cold, you should go warm yourself inside.” She said, almost lifelessly.
Nakakatuwa talaga siya.
He had always wondered as to how she could manage to have the same composure, every single day, even up to now when they were in grave danger, and the littlest of a glance could mean something to them.
“What are you doing here?” He asked, lifelessly as well. He wanted to smile, he wanted to show her he was happy to see her, but he couldn't. He couldn't muster up the strength to do so. It was really pathetic as to how the Flame Alchemist felt so little in front of her, “Shouldn't you be-?”
“It's my break.” She grinned sheepishly.
Oo nga naman, kung gusto mo, palaging may paraan.
He felt himself smile as well. “You didn't bring my coat.”
“You're old enough to bring a coat whenever you go out, Colonel.” She smiled as she handed him the spare military-issued coat she herself had hanged on the coat rack. Roy Mustang really did wonder as to why he didn't see her bring that.
Nangungulila ako sa iyo.
“Thank you.” He smiled as he wore the coat, and visions of his painful present predicament flashed right through him. “You should go back.”
“You sound like you don't want to see me.” She waved a piece of paper he had mysteriously managed to smuggle inside her new office. It was rather silly, not to mention, reckless, but she did like the thought.
All it said was 'Hey.'
Nangungulila ako sa mga araw noong magkasama pa tayo.
“I just wanted to see whether you were still alive.” He smirked.
As much as she hated to admit it, she did miss those smirks (and his perverted glances), and the pathetic part was they had only been separated for three days. “Obviously sir, I am. Really sir, you've become so paranoid.”
Maghulos-dili ka. Aayos rin ang lahat.
She had decided to go back inside, noticing that it had already been five minutes, and she did need to eat her lunch, when he had grabbed her by the arm and pressed his lips softly against hers. “I will get you back...” She heard him whisper.
“Please be careful.” She said as he left him once more on the cold grounds of Amestris Central Headquarters.
Paki-usap, mag-iingat ka.

it's a sweet little fic, though i thought it was a bit short. hahaha, somehow, i got visons of telenovelas while reading this thing. ^___^ kewl.
Hehe, i know it was short, it was more of a spur of the moment fic XDD, and I'm quite sure the telenovelas part was because of tagalog XD
well, i hop between van city and manila. :D i'm in manila right now but will be back there soon. hehhehehhe!
Anyways, I LOVED this! Beautifully written. I wasn't sure if you were trying to do that, but you made it sound like Roy was speaking tagalog. Whoah. That's a cool thought: Roy's Filipino. But then that can't happen cuz there's no Philippines in the FMA world. Okay, now I'm just rambling. Back to the topic... the tagalog went well with it and fit perfectly. And what was cool was that I could understand it! tee hee!
:]
Here's your reward XDD
Bakit nga ba ganoon? - Why is it like that?
Isang statua. Walang buhay. A Statue. With no life.
Nakakatuwa talaga siya. - She's adorable (enter synonyms here, pls XD)
Oo nga naman, kung gusto mo, palaging may paraan. - Oh yeah, if you want it, there's always a way.

Nangungulila ako sa mga araw noong magkasama pa tayo. I long for those days when we were together/ I miss those days when we were together.
Maghulos-dili ka. Aayos rin ang lahat. Calm down (Sort of an orderish tone here.) Everything will be alright.
Paki-usap, mag-iingat ka. Please be careful.
See! Knowing another language does make a fic look beautiful (even if the true meaning of those lines were as lame as me ^^;;)
Being finn myself it would be sometimes really fun to find my langugage from some text. 8)
Many thanks for the translations~ :> Makes the fic even more perfect.
